I went lingerie shopping with my friend just before Valentines day. She’s probably a size or two bigger than me, but wanted to get something special for her boyfriend. I offered her my help with picking things out etc. She saw a really lovely “set” thing, and asked me to try the same thing on aswell, so she could see what it looked like on someone else. I felt really uncomfortable, you have no idea. What I saw was rolls and fat, and stretch marks. It hardly covered anything, given that is the whole purpose of lingerie but still. I felt hideous. 
My friend proceeded to say how “jealous” she was cause I have “all the right curves” to wear such things. I explained how uncomfortable I was and she said it was all nonsense, that I looked “really sexy” and she’d “do me”

This year; I WILL feel comfortable in lingerie. I WILL be happy with showing my body. Just need to find someone to show it to ;)
